👔 The Man Behind the Name
Meet David Fender — founder of Fender Insurance Agency, lifelong St. Johns County resident, and the driving force behind our mission to protect what matters most.
David’s story is rooted in community. Though born in Valdosta, Georgia, his family’s deep ties to St. Augustine go back generations. His grandfather was the pastor at Ancient City Baptist Church in the 1960s, and his mother led the real estate department for St. Johns County. David grew up here, went to school here, and now serves the people of this area with the same care and commitment his family has always shown.

From nearly joining the Navy as a nuclear engineer to navigating Florida’s ever-changing insurance landscape since 1997, David’s journey is one of adaptability, entrepreneurship, and service.
