Boy we live in some very uncertain times don't we. I am going to sit on my soap box for a bit and reflect in this post and please, if anyone feels they are in this similar situation, please share with me in your comments.
Recently, I had to say goodbye to my career, short 4-week career, in car sales with Jim Click because my back said that it cannot handle it. 2 slipped disc, sciatica, and arthritis, all in one swoop. Never thought I would see the day that my body would tell me that you need to start taking better care of yourself. Even with all of the physical fitness and carne asada, I still ended up with this permanent ailment and I can tell you, it has broken my heart and destroyed me mentally as well as physically. Physical therapy has shown some improvement, but it has been rather slow as it relates to recovery.
On top of all of this, I had to take my wife to the hospital last a couple of weeks ago because she was having some problems. They were able to get her stable and we were able to come home the same day, but she has some follow ups that we know are going to be life changing as her road to recovery begins and our medical bills climb. I am still dumb founded on how much it costs to go to the emergency room. This is absolutely insane that we live in America, and we have to live our lives to pay medical bills, taxes, increase food costs, increased gas costs, increased everything costs.
What the hell is wrong with our country!
Termites, leaky faucets, not qualified for free medical coverage or assisted medical coverage, sick and tired of being sick and tired. How do we fix this, it's not like we can make a call and get this resolved or create a fix, what has happened to the American dream? Where do we go from here? Do we just accept it and move on or is there a way to stand up and get this s**t fixed?!
Hope I did not offend anyone, but I needed to write out a little relief in this never-ending think tank that I call my Cabesa! Curious to see everyone's thoughts.
