Michigan’s Own “Mirror of Heaven”

Kitch-iti-kipi is tucked away in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and almost looks too beautiful to be real!

🌊 It’s Michigan’s largest natural freshwater spring
💧 More than 10,000 gallons of water rise through it every minute
❄️ The water remains a chilly 45°F year-round and never freezes
👀 Its crystal-clear water lets visitors see trout, ancient tree trunks and swirling sand nearly 40 feet below
🛶 You can travel across it on a self-operated observation raft

Sometimes life looks a lot like climbing a mountain.

Watching these kids climb reminded me that you don’t need to know exactly how you’ll reach the top. You just have to find your next step and keep going.

Some climbs are easy. Others take courage. But every step takes you higher.

I hope my girls always remember, Don’t be afraid of the mountain ahead. Trust yourself, take it one rock at a time, and keep climbing.
