Before installing or using video cameras, practice owners should understand the laws and regulations surrounding their use. Here are a few basic guidelines:
🔴Do inform patients that cameras are in use.
🔴Don’t record audio. Record video only.
🔴Do inform all employees, in writing, that cameras are in use.
🔴Don’t place cameras in areas where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy.
