Tesla had a very successful 2021 and many of our members have been buying Tesla Model S,3,X,Y; they come to us with great questions regarding their new pride and joy. One question we seem to get is regarding New Car Replacement coverage.

Some policies will insure your vehicle for its actual cash value rather than for the replacement cost. That reflects the current value of the vehicle, not what you paid for it. In California, you can purchase extra coverage from Nationwide Insurance, such as GAP coverage, New Car Replacement coverage. These coverages offer extra protection for newer cars.

CA Public Announcement.

California mandatory composting program begins in January, 2022.

Banana peels, chicken bones and leftover veggies won’t have a place in California trashcans under the nation’s largest mandatory residential food waste recycling program that’s set to take effect in January.

Most people in California will be required to toss excess food into green waste bins rather than the trash. Municipalities will then turn the food waste into compost or use it to create biogas, an energy source that is similar to natural gas.

Starting in January, food waste and other organic materials will have to be separated from regular trash. Cities that refuse to comply could eventually be fined up to $10,000 per day.
