Since the 1980s, the Sahara has shrunk by roughly 8%. Satellite data show widespread greening, a pattern that is playing out across the planet. CNBC pointed out this morning that the S&P 500 just closed at a record high, but only a handful of stocks - mostly the AI stocks - hit their own all-time highs. The same thing happened at the top of dot-com bubble 26 years ago. On Friday, just 20 of the index members hit a record. Of those 20, just seven were not directly related to AI.
