Very common fall trend. After months of summer vacation core strength & flexibility is a must.

I noticed that our team needed some help this week. The first week back always comes with challenges, but I noticed our team could use some help increasing hip mobility/flexibility. Here are few stretches we will be implementing from here on out...

First stretch: Hip flexor stretch (floor) – Lying face up on a mat, raise one leg towards the chest. Grab below the knee and interlace finger tips, pulling tighter to the chest. Hold for 10 seconds then repeat with opposite leg.

Second stretch: Hip flexor/piriformis stretch (standing) – from standing position, bend knees slightly and place one leg on top of the other (align ankle to rest on top of stationary leg, slightly above the knee). Increase the stretch by deepening the squat in stationary leg. Hold for 10-15 seconds then repeat with opposite leg.
