Had a blast at the Jimmy Fund Golf fundraiser with Jake and my local State Farm agents! 🏌️‍♂️⛳️ It was a great day of golf for an even greater cause. We raised over $1500 for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute/Jimmy Fund. Thanks to everyone who came out to support such an important organization!

It was truly an honor to award Johanna with this lifetime achievement award during the Biddeford S**o Chamber of Commerce + Industry annual meeting. This award is a recognition to those in the community that have made significant impacts over the course of 10 year or longer. Her 30+ years makes her an extremely valuable member of the community. As many of you know, Johanna has been the lifeline of our Main Street organization, an advocate for historical preservation and a beautifier of all things flowers, plants and art! Without her extraordinary leadership the S**o we know and love would be significantly different.

As Peg stated, "Johanna has been instrumental in countless improvements made to
our beautiful City of S**o and the greater community. She is a
tireless champion and advocate who has never sought recognition for
any of her deeds. Johanna is a person who works quietly and gets
things done, while her passion for downtown S**o is loud and clear!
This award is very fitting as over the years, Johanna worked very
closely with Bill Kany, we think he would be pleased today."

We shared that there will be a bench and plaque placed in Pepperell Square near her business S**o Frame Center in her honor.
Her response, "Oh that will be lovely for the artists that like to come and paint Pepperell Square." She wasn't thinking about herself in that moment, but the joy it will bring to others.

Congratulations Johanna. We are beyond grateful for all you've done.

Several months ago I was asked by the S**o Arts Commission if we would allow art on our building. Late today was install day, the pieces look great. The art is installed using wheat paste. The artist says the art is about her changing relationship with her two adult sons, the stars were in alignment on this one!
