Just live
Why do you think you have to have every second of your life figured out?
Why do you believe you have to have all the answers?
Why do think everyone has it all figured out in life but you?
Big news, we are all as messed up as you believe you are.
You don’t have to be perfect.
No one, despite their vacation pictures on social media, has it all wonderful every day.
No matter what we pretend, we all struggle, we all fail at times and we all feel alone when tough times appear in life.
Just get up today and live.
Life is designed to be lived going forward.
When we hesitate, we can feel we are the only ones caught in a tough moment.
Just get up, take a deep breath, and plunge back in.
Control in life is an illusion.
There is just you, doing the best you can do each day, and that is enough.
Everyone, despite the “I have the answers to perfection” course they are selling, the expensive cars mandatory in social media, the perfect dress and makeup shot on the beach, or the one with, “aren’t my kids just more perfect than yours?” post has bad times in life, bad hair days, bad kids episodes and bad spouse moments.
All life is messy at times, and there will be days of quiet perfect surrounded by days where a bottle of wine and staring at a wall for 3 hours with a little drool at the corner of your mouth seems like the only solution. We all get scared, we all have insecurity and we all stumble.
Bad days happen to good people.
Bright people make mistakes.
Talented people can make bad decisions.
Success one day can be followed by failure tomorrow.
And then there is you.
Sometimes strong, sometimes weak, and sometimes wrong, but as good as any other human on this planet.
But just live and be, because we are all flawed, all struggle, all question the bad times in life, and yet we can accept the imperfection and then find the best in our own lives, and that is enough for a life well lived.
Just live, breath, and keep going.
The day you accept you are not perfect, and no one else is either, may be the only day of perfection you will ever have in life.
