This week brought some exciting recognition from our 2025 year, and we are feeling incredibly thankful! ❤️

We were honored to receive recognition for 20 Years in Legion of Honor and President’s Club for Life.

While these awards may have one name attached to them, they are absolutely a TEAM accomplishment. They represent the hard work, dedication, consistency, and care our entire team puts into serving our customers every single day.

We couldn’t do what we do without this group working together, supporting one another, and always striving to take care of our State Farm family.

So proud of this team. So thankful for our customers who continue to trust us. And incredibly grateful for the opportunity to do what we love together.

Today, we got to slow down just a little in the office and celebrate two very special birthdays from this month — Sunny and Chris! 🥳🎂

These two are such important parts of what we do every day, and we are so thankful for everything they bring to our team. We celebrated the best way we know how — with cheesecake, chocolate chip pound cake, and the most delicious lunch from Sundown Tavern in Ruston! 😋

Thanks for being born, Sunny and Chris! 😂❤️ We love you both, appreciate you more than you know, and are so thankful you’re part of our Skip Russell State Farm family.

Check on someone today. Be patient with the person who seems distracted. Give a little extra grace. Say the prayer. Send the text. Make the call.

Some days remind us just how special our community truly is. ❤️

Life is a roller coaster. One day we may be celebrating, and the next we may be walking through something we never imagined. We never really know what the person beside us is carrying—or when we may be the one who needs a little extra kindness.

So today, and every day, give people space. Give them grace. Be patient. Be gentle. Choose compassion over judgment. Check on your people. Say the kind thing. Do the good thing.

Be the good you want to see in others.

We are so thankful to live and work in a community that shows up, loves big, prays hard, and takes care of its own. May we never take that for granted.

The kids aren’t the only ones taking back-to-school pictures this year! We had our team strike their favorite school-day pose and fill out a little “All About Me” board — and the answers did NOT disappoint. 🤣

🏈 IT’S FOOTBALL TIME, Y’ALL! 🏈

We were proud to start our Saturday morning by helping fuel the RJHS Bearkits Football Team with breakfast before they hit the road! ♥️🤍

The Bearkits are headed to Alexandria to take on Natchitoches Braves at noon, and we’re sending them off with full bellies, lots of encouragement, and plenty of Bearkit pride! 💪🏼🏈

There’s just something about the start of football season—the early mornings, road trips, Friday night lights, and getting to cheer on these kids who have worked so hard. We are READY! 🙌🏼
