Attention

Most of us know by now there is a winter storm at our doorstep. Folks it’s going to get cold.

Now’s they time to protect your homes…

Some tips
1. Make sure your windows latches are locked, this will seal the windows.
2. Turn water spigots on to a slow drip, this keeps water flowing and pipes won’t freeze.
3. If you live on a crawlspace make sure your vents are closed and or put insulation behind them. Stops drafts under the house.
4. If you have a wood burning (serviced by professional) fireplace or wood stove…nows the last time to get wood…make sure you say “seasoned” or it may not burn. If you have a gas f/p or w/s make sure you know for sure it’s been serviced before you use it.
5. Think about a generator…if you have one make sure you have gas, heaters and or extra extension cords. Generators are great investments, especially if you live in the country.
6. Make sure your animals are warm and cared for.
7. And of course…let’s not forget a good ole Arkansas winter storm trip to the grocery store…did mine today.
