Back in March, I was promoted to GRANDPA! And I'll tell you, there's nothing quite like it.
With this new little one in our family, I've been thinking a lot about making sure my kids, and now my grandkid, are taken care of.
Life has a way of throwing curve balls when you least expect it. Things can change in a heartbeat.
21 years ago, when Kalli was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, our family faced the challenge of raising a child with T1D. We also quickly learned that individuals with T1D often face difficulties when it comes to getting insurance, and in many cases, may even be considered uninsurable. But because we made the decision to purchase life insurance policies for our children when they were babies, they now have coverage they can carry into adulthood.
The younger they are, the more affordable it is to get that protection in place, and it sticks with them if their health were to change – they'll still be insurable. You can even get something in place at just 7 days old.
