I have done, and continue to be interested in, a lot of different things in my life so my near 27-year career in the mortgage industry has made a lot of sense: it allows me to engage and interact with people. In April of 2009, I arrived at Shamrock Financial after owning Civic Mortgage Group for many years. The transition to a Direct Lender was a necessary one in this industry. I have a knack for knowledge and its use within my daily job duties and the ability to retain information that relates to industry guidelines and the economic changes that affect them; and then using that knowledge to solve problems. Because of my large knowledge base, professionals in other fields consider me a Center of Influence and often reach out to ask questions. Determining the best approach to get each client approved is one of the greatest problems I’m best at solving. For someone who cannot purchase or refinance at that moment, I educate them about the steps they need to take for the shortest path to success. I have worked with several condominium associations and helped them become compliant within the strict rules of condominium lending; this has enhanced the associations’ ability to sell their units, not to mention maximizing the values of each one. I have written articles for a national condominium periodical as well. The arena of condominium lending is something that I have a certain level of expertise in. Personally, among many other things, I enjoy tennis, table soccer, golf, fishing, kayaking, hiking and just aimless exploration.
