ed that the hens were HERS and SHE needed to gather the eggs (every 30 minutes), and the idea to start a little business for her arose! Stella Marie's Chickadees is a way for us to share our yummy and colorful eggs with friends and family, while also building a nest egg ;P for our daughter. ALL of the money obtained from the sale of the eggs is going straight into a savings account that has been created for Stella. We are hoping to not only to save money for our daughter's future, but also give her the opportunity to acquire stronger life skills - and who doesn't want their child to know they can be ANYTHING they want to be - even a chicken farmer :D
