Most of us have phones that adjust, but remember to change the clocks on your microwaves, your analog clock, and even the clock on the wall in your living room.

It is icy out there today!

Stay safe and stay off the roads today.

If you MUST get out, please check out these 7 safety tips:

1. Drive SLOW
2. Accelerate SLOW
3. Increase the distance between you and the other cars in front of you (600 ft. or more)
4. Avoid passing other vehicles
5. Avoid bridges and overpasses, they are the first to ice over
6. If your vehicle suddenly feels like it’s floating, take your foot off the gas but don’t slam on your brakes, which can cause you to skid
7. The best way to be safe while driving in icy conditions is to be patient. Let vehicles that tailgate you go by and take your time.

This is my family..people always talk about their “why” and commonly mention their family..well, my family is PART of my “why”, but that isn’t the end.

When my kids left home and moved out on their own, I found myself lost…bored. Going to work and coming home just want enough anymore. I really needed to redefine who I am and what my “why” is.

When I dug deep, I realized that the qualities I loved about being a parent, are much like running a business, being a risk manager, and building a team. I started dreaming again of greatness myself and for the others in my world, my team, my clients and even other agents out in the world that may need a little pick me up of their own.

That revelation changed me and changed how I run my business. I take chances and encourage others to do the same. I’m more honest and real so maybe someone sees themselves in the journey and is encouraged.

Think about your “why” dig deeper..and use it to make the world better in the long run.
