Anyone who has worked at an agency knows the joke. A client hires you to do marketing and then quietly expects you to be four other specialists on top of it.

For twenty years I thought that was a lot to ask.
Then I sat down with the actual job description for an insurance agent and found the same list, written by somebody else.

The part I underestimated is how much of this work is investigation. The gap in a business's coverage is almost never the thing the owner asked me about. It's the subcontractor nobody mentioned, the delivery driver running on a personal auto policy, the equipment that got added in March and never made it onto the schedule. Nobody's hiding it. They just don't know it's a question.

Twenty years in sports means you're at work on the nights everybody else has off. Weekends, holidays, most of the good stuff. Jessica and I built an entire life inside that schedule and I wouldn't give those years back.

In 2023 I decided I didn't want to build the rest of it the same way. So I opened my own agency in Roswell.

I've barely used this page since. Family photos and whatever my company sent over. That changes now. I'm going to start actually saying something here, in my own words.
