TITLE: Administrative Assistant

SUMMARY: The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role. Attend to visitors and manage incoming calls. Supply general information to customers. Assist account managers and other office employees with various administrative tasks.

WORK PERFORMED: • Answer telephone for multiple offices, screen and direct calls using a Mitel phone system • Greet visitors and announce arrival to appropriate team member • Help coordinate meetings and order catering when needed • Monitor and maintain office equipment; ensure the reception area is neat and maintained • Execute bonds sent by account managers • Print and distribute ID cards, Certificates of Insurance, and Explanations of Payments Assist account management team with daily processing

JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Proven customer services skills • Professional personal presentation • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Attention to detail and ability to organize and plan • Ability to comfortably manage high call volume situations • Must be reliable (regular on-time attendance, ability to meet deadlines, clear communication to teammates, etc.)

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • Prior insurance industry experience preferred but not required• High school diploma or GED
