Helllooooooo!!
Ed’s kids here, this is a difficult post for us to write but we want to let everyone know that yesterday morning the world lost a wonderful man, but Heaven has gained him! His passing was peaceful and he was surrounded by his immediate family radiating with love.
Nothing can prepare you for the death of a loved one, but we find peace knowing he is no longer in pain and can finally rest. At this time no funeral service is currently scheduled, and a celebration of life ceremony will be announced at a future date.
Because the timing of his passing was much sooner than expected we are asking for donations to help cover medical bills and living expenses in lieu of flowers. If you’re able to, please donate at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/ed-fontes?utm_campaign=p_lico+share-sheet-first-launch&utm_medium=sms&utm_source=customer (https://www.gofundme.com/f/ed-fontes?utm_campaign=p_lico+share-sheet-first-launch&utm_medium=sms&utm_source=customer)
In addition to any donations we are asking those close to Ed to post their favorite photos and share their favorite memories of Ed here. We thank you in advance for your thoughts and heartfelt messages.
For all his friends, realtors, and all his followers, Ed’s partner Jorge Lombera will be taking over the business. They started working together in 2016 and as a team have had the pleasure of providing loans to buyers who had been turned down and told no. Ed was known for being able to work tough loans and save loans that otherwise would have been lost. As his partner, Jorge was there helping and learning every step of the way, and now having become a Loan Officer himself there is no better person to continue servicing the long list of clients and industry professionals accustomed to the service Team Fontes would provide. Jorge was more than just a Partner, he was also a very good Friend.
