To: All of our friends, teammates and clients,
We are saddened to inform you that our dear teammate and friend, Lori Fallow, passed away recently and unexpectedly at her home in Truckee, California.
Lori began her career with Placer Title Company in our Tahoe City Branch in 1984 and spent her escrow career serving the communities of Nevada County, Tahoe City and Truckee. Having been hired by our beloved founder, Leo French, in the very early days of our company, Lori was a devoted employee as evidenced by her nearly 40 years of exemplary service. Early in her career, Lori worked with our former Tahoe area leader, the late Dave Tormey, who served as a wonderful mentor to her. Lori was devoted to her many clients and was a valued team member utilizing her experience and passion for completing transactions successfully. Her laughter and spirit will be missed beyond measure.
Lori is survived by her family including her two daughters, grandson, parents, sisters, other family members and many friends and co-workers.
A few remembrances:
Chris Gerrald (co-worker and friend): Lori was such a sweet lady. Anyone around her knew that she loved to laugh. She was always one to say a kind word. She will be missed. I feel like I have lost a sister from another momma and mister.
Lea Anne Koch (co-worker and fellow grandmother): Lori's grandson, Jayden, was the joy of her life --- she lit up every time she spoke of him. She was happiest in her role as grandma.
Mary Jane Fiscus (County Manager and friend): Lori gave us so many wonderful memories –she will not be forgotten. She had such a sweet spirit. I'm sure Heaven just got a little more beautiful.
Placer Title Grass Valley (Teammates and friends): We would like to offer our sincere condolences for the loss of our dear Lori. She will be so missed by all of us here. She always had a smile on her face and was so much fun to be around. She was so thoughtful and sincere and made us feel so special. We will never forget the special person she was.
