Ignoring cash transactions? That could be costing you more than you think!

Whether you’re receiving cash or paying with it, you MUST record every dollar.

Received cash? Deposit it into your business bank account asap before marking the invoice as paid.
Paid with cash? Get a receipt and record it as business expense.

Untracked cash leads to inaccurate books.
Inaccurate books lead to poor financial decisions.
And that could lead to tax trouble or missed deductions.

Set up a process for handling cash and stay consistent. If you need help figuring out how - let me know!

Think you can skip paying yourself just because you’re the owner?

If you’re an S-Corp owner, the IRS says: absolutely not!

Salaries = payroll taxes
Distributions = no payroll taxes
Skipping your salary to save on taxes? That’s a red flag 🚩 for the IRS

Don’t guess. Set up payroll. Do it the right way. Protect yourself and your business!
