A pot simmer is a fun way to make your home smell festive! Here's a simple recipe:

Ingredients:
1 orange (sliced, peel included)
1 apple (sliced)
1-2 cinnamon sticks
1 tablespoon of whole cloves
1 teaspoon of nutmeg (optional)
1 sprig of fresh rosemary (or 1 tablespoon dried)
1-2 cups of cranberries
4-5 cups of water (to fill your pot)

Instructions:
Add all the ingredients to a small pot or saucepan.
Cover with water and bring to a gentle boil.
Reduce the heat to the lowest setting and let it simmer uncovered.

Keep an eye on the water level, adding more water as needed to prevent burning.

The warm, spicy, and citrusy aroma will fill your home with holiday cheer! You can also refrigerate the mixture after each use and reuse it for up to a few days by adding fresh water and simmering again.
