We quoted the load at $13,000.
They went with one of the top five brokerages in the world instead.
Their quote?
$14,000.
$1,000 MORE than ours.
But here’s where the story gets interesting. 👀
They came back to our agent, Enzo, anyway.
Not to give us the load.
They wanted his help figuring out how to repackage the freight to bring the cost down.
Enzo politely held the line.
Because there’s a difference between being helpful and giving away the expertise you were hired to provide—especially after someone chose another provider.
We gave an honest quote.
We knew the freight.
We knew what it would take to move it.
And when our original number turned out to be the better one, we didn't suddenly become the free consulting department for someone else's load.
Enzo held the line.
And honestly, that's one of the things I'm proudest of about our team.
We want agents who take care of people, solve problems, and go the extra mile for our customers.
But we also want agents who understand the value of what they know—and aren't afraid to stand behind it.
That's who we hire.
