Boat sinking? Plug the hole! ⛵

Finding out the hard way is often how I learn best. I rented a boat ready for a great afternoon. Noticing a small amount of water in the boat, thought nothing of it. More water started coming in...not an ideal situation.

Frantically, I tried to find the source of the water. Little did I know there's a plug in the boat that wasn't sealed tight. Twisting it as hard as I could, the leak was fixed. Now I know to check the boat plug beforehand!

Stopping to think...where else does this happen in my life or my clients? Finding cost leakage is key. That everyday cup of coffee or that in person meeting is it really worth it? Work with me to help you "plug" your leakage to stop your financial boat from sinking!

New car anyone? Hmm...need to think about that before going all in with your hard-earned money.

Let's do some math and you decide if it is worth it:

-Brand new car 2026 average price is $20+k higher

-Average auto interest rate is 6.5%

-Average S&P 500 return is 10%

-$5,000 down payment for a 5-year term

New car price all equals over $63k, whereas used car price is $40k.

That is a $23k difference, that difference invested in the S&P 500 gives you over $37k. At that price you could buy a whole other car with that difference!

Large purchases have large financial pros & cons. Message me today to help you find what the best options are!

Insurance Costs Skyrocketing 🚀

Home & Auto keeps climbing every year. Yet, that isn't the only cost. The more you pay equals the less you save. Simple as that.

My insurance company after being with them for 10+ years raised my rates year after year, until enough was enough. I developed a process to find more coverage at a better price and BOOM! Now saving money I thought wasn't possible.

Let me help you save thousands be it for business or personal insurance coverages. Keep your hard-working money and put it to work for you!

Tax Return Season is coming! What will you do with your return? Spend it on a vacation a car or material good? Hmm...take a second to think if that's the best decision. 🤔

Average 2025 tax return is $3,453 and average American credit card debt is $6,715. Make the average payment of $181, which will take you 4 years to pay off! Now, use that tax return on the credit card debt, you can pay it off in just under 2 years.

That is a return of over 35% within 1 year. Compare that to other methods there is no easier choice of what to do with your return.

"I can't save for college."
"How do I begin to save for a vacation?"
"Where can I begin to start an emergency fund?"

Common questions, which have a simple answer. Have you checked your couch? Seriously, check your couch.

No not literally, but look at the time you spend there. Are you paying for multiple streaming services? Do you use them all? The small dollars matter!

Monthly subscriptions are a killer. Cut out wasteful habitual spending. Putting that money into an HSA or index fund to help you save for college, fund a vacation or start that emergency fund.

📚 Is community college worth it?

Paying for college on my own was a challenge, and knowning that early on I had to do some math. Avg 2-year college cost is around $5k/year, where a 4-year public university is between $45-25k/year (depending on in state or out of state).

I didn't have any scholarships or savings for education, so the only option was loans. Going 2 years to a community college saved me over $130k!

Put that into perspective, that is enough to buy a home, a car, and a vacation!

Get your education and stop overpaying. The money saved will help you start your life out on the right foot.

🌎 8th Wonder of the World?? 🌎 Compounding Interest

Have kids and wondered how will you pay for crazy educational costs?

The 529 plan is a wonderful tax-free tool to use for your children to pay for education. This is a government backed program with an average return rate of 6%. Contributions are tax deductible & give you compounding interest. Best part is if your child doesn't go to college or trade school, it can be rolled over to a 401k. If you start today with $1,000 and pay $100/month (cost of a evening out at a restaurant), that equates to over $41k!

Q : "How do I get out of debt and get back on track?"

A: "Well, how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time."

Getting out of debt is no easy task. It will take patience & discipline, BUT IT IS WORTH IT!

"Handling" monthly payments is the mindset of someone who will never gain their financial freedom. Use the "Debt Domino" method, focus on crushing heavy interest 1st and once you knock that down onto the next. Remember when it seems insurmountable, just take it one "bite" at a time.
