After 16 years, Jason & I have decided to move on to the next chapter of our lives and sell Premier Title Group. After much deliberation, we decided to partner with True Title Company to assume our operation. True Title is a large title agency based in St. Louis, but with 13 closing offices throughout Missouri. We liked True Title for many reasons:

- The strength of their technology, which will allow our team in Rolla to continue to process and close transactions in the most efficient manner AND greatly enhance the level of data protection and security against the ever-growing threat of cyber crime;

- Local ownership and leadership. John Duckworth, president of True Title is a native of rural Jefferson County and graduate of Mizzou; John Banjak, general counsel, from Kirkwood, is a graduate of Washington University Law, and a longtime veteran of the Missouri title industry. Kim Kraemer, VP, manages Escrow Operations, is a St. Louis native who attended SEMO.

- True Title's operation spans the rural-urban divide. They have branch locations in places like Farmington and Washington, and this gave us comfort in knowing they know how to serve a market like Rolla.

Effective March 1, True Title will assume operation. Rachel Brookshire and Amanda Patteson will be staying with the company. While we will no longer work directly for the title company, Jason & I will also be partners in the background as well, and if you have any issues, feel free to contact me and I will work with John and Kim to ensure your needs are met.

Premier Title Group, LLC is a title insurance/escrow/real estate closing business.

We are seeking a full time Title Examiner/Abstractor. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. 10 paid holidays off per year along with 10 personal days off per year. No healthcare or retirement.

Customer service skills are a must. Job duties include traveling in a company car to surrounding County Courthouses and examining titles, searching real estate records, liens and encumbrances. Compile lists of Mortgages, contracts, and other instruments pertaining to titles by searching public and private records. Examine deeds, deeds of trust, liens, judgments, easements, and plat maps to determine ownership, encumbrances, and to verify legal descriptions of property. Prepare property reports and title commitments. Answering phones, typing, filing, and other basic office skills as needed. Must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, a clean criminal record, and be able to obtain a title insurance license through the Missouri Department of Insurance.
