I just helped my client successfully dispute his General Liability and Umbrella Insurance Audits. After a significant amount of growth 📈 last year, the client knew more premiums would be due, as the rates are based on gross sales. Upon reviewing, I noticed some discrepancies in what the carrier reported and invoiced. 🕵️

I asked my client to get me some reports and I went to work. I keep good records, so I had the details from the prior audit, which helped. After two months of back and forth with the carrier, we just received endorsements resulting in almost $12,000 less premium due!!! 😮🏆

If your agent does not understand your business, the risks associated and how to protect it (including not overpaying in premiums) you need one that does!!

Small business is the backbone of this country and I’m so grateful to work with them every day! 🙏

People often ask me why they have to insure their 🏠 for so much? Where does this number come from? It feels “made up” by the insurance company just so they can charge 💸 more. “Houses aren’t even selling for that much in my neighborhood” is what I hear most often.

The truth is, when you have a loss, there’s a lot of costs that come into play with the rebuild that don’t apply to new construction. You also aren’t going to get bulk builder pricing if you’re rebuilding one home.

In addition to the items listed below that have increased so much since Covid, things like debris removal, general contractor overhead and profit are real expenses that can drive up the “replacement cost” of your dwelling.

A client, who had been with me for many years, recently passed at the age of 91 - a truly impressive milestone. What touched me was the family's genuine gratitude for my support of their mother. 🥹

The truth is, it was an honor! To assist families through the various stages of their lives is a privilege, and I am thankful for the trust they have placed in me. Today, I came across a card she had sent, which I took a photo of, to keep. It was deeply meaningful at the time, and I am thankful to have preserved it, as it brought a sense of joy and warmth to my heart. I feel grateful to have ended up on this life path, and for the other paths that have crossed mine along the way. 🙏🤓❤️

Man, insurance has been really tough the last few years. I’ve never really questioned that life choice until the last year 🤔🤣🤷🏼‍♀️

Sometimes when I feel like I’m spinning my wheels and getting nowhere, it’s tough. Candidly, I’ve had a rough week. But I woke up this morning to an email from a long time client and it was just the pick me up I needed. 😍

My clients are families just trying to navigate this “new norm” we find ourselves in. Knowing they can FEEL that I care for them, the way I care for my own family, IS EVERYTHING!! 🫶🏻💻☎️🏡🚙

The insurance market is ever changing, and it's important to stay sharp for my clients! Last week, I took the opportunity to tour the state of the art Liberty Mutual Claims Training Facility, and it was eye-opening. Seeing simulated claims scenarios helped me better understand what claim reps look for and how the coverages really come into play. 🏠 🚙 🔥 💧 🌪️ 🧊

During storms, warning information is often sent to phones. Having “local awareness” on will improve these warnings via your phone.

Yes, it’s noisy, but it could save your life.
