COMMERCIAL INSURANCE SALES SPECIALIST

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with businesses and organizations to sell insurance policies that cover their needs. This includes identifying potential clients, assessing their insurance needs, and presenting options for coverage. The producer must also stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations, as well as underwriting guidelines and risk management techniques.
Responsibilities may include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients
- Identifying new business opportunities through networking and marketing efforts
- Conducting risk assessments and developing insurance solutions for clients
- Presenting insurance options to clients and explaining coverage details
- Negotiating terms and pricing with underwriters
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and underwriting guidelines
- Collaborating with other team members, such as underwriters and claims adjusters, to provide exceptional service to clients
- Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and policy details
- Meeting sales goals and targets
Requirements for this position
- Relevant experience in sales or insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
