Volunteers needed this Friday afternoon to help set up our plant sale.

Do you have a couple of hours to help set up for our annual plant sale to benefit the Friends of Rockland Library? Is so, please visit the sign-up link below and see you Friday, June 12 at 1 PM on the Library lawn!

It’s June 1 which means there’s a new monthly special at The Book Stop.

This month, take $1 OFF all Art & Architecture Books!

The Book Stop is a used bookstore run by volunteers from the Friends of Rockland Public Library. It is located on the lower level of the library and is open Monday-Saturday 10am-1pm. All proceeds support the library.

Have something to sell? Applications are open for the second annual Open Air Market on the Library Lawn on July 25th - we had so much last year, we’re doing it again!

We’re looking for members of the community who would like to rent a space for their own tag sale, vintage or handmade maker booth. 10x10’ booth spaces cost $25 for members of the Friends of Rockland Public Library or $35 for non-members (which includes a $10 individual membership). No vendor experience necessary.

Do you have any gardening books you no longer use? We’re looking for donations for the Garden and Cook Book Sale at our Plant Sale on the library lawn on June 13.

Donations can be brought to the library
or dropped off at the Book Stop.

The Book Stop used bookstore is located on the lower level of the Rockland Public Library and is open Monday-Saturday 10am-1pm. You can access it via the side parking lot and door when it is open.

Donations of gently used CHILDRENS’ books are needed for the Book Stop. We especially need JUNIOR FICTION - Newberry Award winners, Magic Tree House series, Captain Underpants, etc.
Donations can be dropped off during library hours.
ALL proceeds from the Book Stop support our wonderful library.

Who knows what you might find at today's Inflation Free Book and Bake Sale at Rockland Public Library? Still only $10 for a bag of wonderful books. Doors open at 10:30 for Friends members, then general shopping runs 11-3. You can join the Friends at the Sale if you want to shop early. Don't forget your bag. See you soon. Don't forget our Inflation Free Books by the Bag and Bake Sale tomorrow. You'll find thousands of titles in dozens of genres in the Community Room downstairs at Rockland Public Library. Fill your bag for only $10 from 11 to 3, with members invited to shop early at 10:30. We have so many wonderful books for you to discover, plus a tempting selection of treats.
