Yesterday, we held a canned food drive at the Rockford JV Football game, and despite the rain throwing a few extra challenges our way, the night was a HUGE success!

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, we collected nearly 200 pounds of food to donate to North Kent Connect!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this event possible. It's nights like these that remind us what makes Rockford such a great community to be part of! Rockford Sports Boosters Rockford Rams Football Rockford Public Schools

Rockford Rams Football Fans – We Need Your Help!

I was honored when the Rockford High School Marketing class asked me to help provide a “real-world” learning opportunity for their students.

Since the beginning of the school year, I've had the pleasure of working with these students on developing a fundraising project they could market and promote within our community.

This year, we decided to focus on a food drive benefiting North Kent Connect!

What makes this project special is that the students developed the entire marketing campaign themselves! From the initial ideas to putting the campaign together, they've taken the lead, and it's been great watching their creativity and hard work come together.

Now we need the community's help!

🏈 Thursday, October 15th – Rockford JV Football Game

If you're heading to the game, please consider bringing a donation of non-perishable food items. All donations will go directly to North Kent Connect to help local families in need.

I'm proud of the work these students have put into this project, and I hope we can show them just how supportive the Rockford community can be!

Go Rams! 🧡🖤
