This is a scam. How do I know?
They give no identifying information at all. It makes you question what it's for and want to open the attachment.
**NEVER OPEN THE ATTACHMENT**
I have a very old email address that I use for just this reason. When just about any place asks for my email address, I give them this one. If I need to register an account for something important like billing, I use a different email address.
Anytime anything like this is sent to my old address, I'm not on alert and won't make a mistake like calling the fake number or clicking the attachment.
If you don't already have one, get yourself a junk email address where, if your information is sold by a company, it's not going to ruin your day.
Have a great day!
