Well, this is not how we planned to start the week.

A pipe burst at our office, and we are in full cleanup mode. The good news: our team is safe, your files and information are secure, and we are already set up to work off-site while repairs happen.

Here is what has not changed. We are here to serve you. Calls, quotes, claims, policy questions, all of it. Reach us at 616-301-3146 or [email protected] and we will take care of you just like always.

We will continue to update you, for now our onsite location is closed.

If there is a silver lining, it is that we now have a very personal appreciation for what a water loss feels like. If you have ever wondered whether your policy would cover something like this, ask us. That is a much better conversation to have before you need it.

I frequently get asked " I'm buying a car for my teen driver. What do you recommend?" For those of you about to navigate into this space, check out this article highlighting what to look for and a list of vehicles and their price points. Remember that when you buy a vehicle for a teenager, you can expect your policy to increase. The newer the car the more expensive the coverage (in most cases) I alway recommend a vehicle 10 years or older that can be insured without needing comprehensive and collision.

An updated list of used and new vehicles for young drivers can help families prioritize safety on a budget.

We were volunteering at the Forest Hills Business Association shred day today and someone stopped by with this cool "truck." Did you know the Tesla truck does a light and sound show? That was so cool to see. Now to schedule a night time viewing. What a beautiful morning to help people disgard their sensitive documents. It was fun to hang out with my fellow business professionals making a difference. I never knew so many people had no other access to shred their documents.
