Most repair shops I talk to are carrying less Garagekeepers coverage than they likely should be.
A common setup is a fixed limit—something like $30K per bay. That can fall short pretty quickly with today’s vehicle values.

And it’s not just what’s in the bays:
- Cars parked outside still count.
- Test drives are part of the exposure.
- Classics or higher-value vehicles waiting on parts/repairs.

Those situations don’t always line up well with a capped per-bay limit, or a limit that was set 10 years ago.
That’s where ALS (Actual Loss Sustained) comes in.
Instead of a fixed cap, it’s based on the total estimated value of customer vehicles in your care at any given time.
