For your home, please open cabinets under sinks to keep warm air circulating and let faucets drip to keep them from freezing. Do not park your vehicles under any trees this weekend! 🚓South Carolina’s Hands-Free and Distracted Driving Act becomes effective on September 1, 2025
🚓The law prohibits drivers from holding or supporting any mobile electronic device while operating a vehicle on public roads.
🚓What You Cannot Do:
Hold or support any mobile electronic device with any part of your body.
Read, compose, or transmit text messages, emails, or other electronic communications.
Interact with apps or browse websites.
Watch videos, play games, or participate in video calls.

I can’t believe 10 years ago today we started Saverance Agency!! I am forever grateful to my friends that guided me toward this group of people! Smart Choice took me under their wing and to this day are still my best cheerleaders!

Do you know someone with a teen that will be driving soon?! Make sure they reach out to their current company to quote said driver AND THEN tell them to call me!! We have the best rates for inexperienced drivers!
Why is it advantageous to add them? You allow your child to build tenure with an insurance company so when they leave the nest and start their own policy they will have insurance history.
Why do we not recommend putting the child “on their own policy”? #1 a minor cannot sign into a legal contract. #2 Insurance is based off of Insurance history, credit history, & driving history, which most young drivers have none of this! #3 Despite putting them on a separate policy, your insurance company will most likely have you add them to your policy as well because they are in the household & would have access to your cars.
