🚓South Carolina’s Hands-Free and Distracted Driving Act becomes effective on September 1, 2025
🚓The law prohibits drivers from holding or supporting any mobile electronic device while operating a vehicle on public roads.
🚓What You Cannot Do:
Hold or support any mobile electronic device with any part of your body.
Read, compose, or transmit text messages, emails, or other electronic communications.
Interact with apps or browse websites.
Watch videos, play games, or participate in video calls.

🚓South Carolina's Hands-Free and Distracted Driving Act becomes effective on September 1, 2025🚓The law prohibits drivers from holding or supporting any mobile electronic device while operating a vehicle on public roads.
