York Police Department is continuing its search for Katie-Jo and is seeking assistance in the investigation. STUDENTS , FRIENDS , and parents are strongly urged to share any relevant information with the department that could help in loacting her and bringing her back to her family.

Hey York, we need your eyes and ears! Katie-Jo Rose Wilson, a 15-year-old, has been reported as missing . She was last seen leaving York Comprehensive High School around 1:57 PM. She was last seen wearing a brown toboggan, blue jeans, a black sweater, and brown moccasins, walking towards Lincoln Road.

She is about 5’3 and weighs approximately 110 pounds. Long black hair, brown eyes.

The Tega Cay Police Department is experiencing the heartbreaking loss of one of our own, Lieutenant Lauren Galloway.

Today LT. Galloway, a 12-year veteran of the Tega Cay Police Department, passed away after a long battle with cancer. Lauren was a leader, a mentor and a provider to our department. She was so kind to everyone and served the citizens of Tega Cay selflessly. The men and women of the Tega Cay Police Department are trying to comprehend and and endure one of the most difficult chapters in our Departments’ history.

We have received many inquiries asking how people can donate to support LT. Galloway’s family. If you would like to place flowers or memorials at the Police Department, please do so safely at the rock located in front of the station along Tega Cay Drive.

Arrangements and service for LT. Galloway will be announced soon. Please keep Lauren’s family and friends in your prayers. LT. Lauren Galloway will be missed.
