Celebrating Latino Excellence and Empowering Future Leaders 💙

We are grateful for the opportunity to support students through scholarship programs, including the -American Action League, Inc.

Congratulations to Grace Tillinghast, who was awarded The Summit Federal Credit Union Excellence Award at last evening's Ibero Scholars Reception, Networking, and Recognition Ceremony. Grace will be graduating from Bishop Kearney High School and plans on attending Mercyhurst University in the fall.

Taste Of Syracuse is almost here! 🌭
Today, we’re highlighting Feed Our Vets, who will be joining us at our tent on Saturday.

For more than 15 years, Feed Our Vets has been a lifeline for Veterans, active‑duty service members, and their families. Since 2009, they’ve provided free food assistance to over 79,000 individuals, distributing 6 million pounds of food and more than $430,000 in gift cards. Their mission is to make sure no Veteran faces hunger alone. They run community food pantries, offer essential goods and services, and provide public education and outreach.

We’re proud to support our vets at this year’s Taste of Syracuse, especially as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. Come out next weekend, stop by our tent, and help us lift the heroes who’ve served!

We were proud to join the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce this week for their Annual Youth Hall of Fame Awards, honoring outstanding 11th and 12th grade students who are making a real impact in their schools and communities. These awards shine a light on young people who’ve shown remarkable growth, leadership, and dedication to those around them.

Our pillow & bed drive was a success! 🎉

Thank you to all of our staff and members who contributed to our pillow and bedding drive for Sleep in Heavenly Peace - NY, Buffalo, Sleep in Heavenly Peace - NY, Rochester, and Sleep in Heavenly Peace - NY, Syracuse!

Although lumber and tools come from Lowe's, one of their major sponsors, and mattresses come from SHP headquarters, the organization relies on donations of new pillows and bedding. We were able to replenish the chapters' supplies of these items to ensure that no child sleeps on the floor in our town!
