Edward Jones gives employees the chance to play hooky from work and volunteer in the community one day a year—they call it our “Day of Caring.” This year, Jessie decided to use her Day of Caring to help the Rochester Public Library decorate for LGBTQ+ Pride month!

Back in May, the library invited Rochester Pride attendees to create hundreds of origami hearts. Jessie and a fellow Branch Office Administrator from another Edward Jones office in town assembled the hearts into a display for the young adult section of the library. She also got to use a button maker to assemble some pronoun pins!

We’re grateful to work for a firm that supports our efforts to make our community a more welcoming and inclusive place for everyone.
