I hope everyone who see’s this is safe.

We had a big storm come through last night. Many people will have to use their insurance.

Key pieces to remember:
If a tree falls and damages your home, even if it’s rooted in your neighbors yard. This is subject to your insurance. The only way the claim would not be subject to your insurance is if you can prove negligence for having the tree not removed.

If a tree fell onto your vehicle, this is subject to your deductible. This would fall under a comprehensive claim so your rate (dependent on carrier) would not be subject to a rate increase from submitting a claim.

💨 A huge storm ripped through Rochester late last night causing some pretty bad damage across the city and left thousands without power. How are you doing after that storm?

If you've been around town at all today you've seen all of the tree damage that occurred. If you're someone who has a tree that was damaged or completely taken out by the storm, you might be wondering who's responsible for the cleanup, you or the city? 🌳

The answer is... it depends. It depends on where the tree is located and it depends on where the debris landed.

ROCHESTER FARMERS MARKET!

Last Saturday I went to the Farmers market in town. I got to meet some great people!

I loved the branding at Sam Sa'house! I got to speak with Sam for a bit and he makes incredible guy who makes the best hot sauces I have tried. Must try.

I have been looking for good Kimchi and at Sunmi Kimchi they delivered! Great couple who makes kimchi she learned from her Grandmother.

I also found a farm that makes local raw honey! You can taste the difference, and it’s less than at big boxes stores for quantity and especially quality! I met with the owners at Sekapp Orchard. Great family ran farm.

I am grateful to have met wonderful people, hear their story and get amazing products!

I will be at the Farmers market every weekend for the rest of the year. If you see me come say Hi!

Tinn’s food truck is by our office this week!

Make sure when you come by the office to try their excellent sandwiches. I got their original cheesesteak. They make to order with ribeye. Highly recommend. Their original location is 2345 26th St Ne. I hope you have an amazing and safe weekend.
