This Holiday Season we are honored to collaborate once again locally to support St. Joseph’s House of Hospitality.

This year we will be collecting hygiene and care products for those the organization serves. Items such as full-size toothpaste, deodorant, soap, lip balm, and handwarmers are examples that would be very helpful.

We will be collecting at the Credit Union all the way through the end of the year.

We have seen an uptick recently in scams. Not just here at our Credit Union, but across our area. Unfortunately, this time of year scammers are the most active. Use these tips to help protect yourself and keep your holidays cheerful!

🎁Verify Links and Websites:
o Avoid clicking on links from unknown emails or texts or on social media.
o Shop only on secure websites (look for “https” and a padlock).

🎁Be Careful How You Pay:
o Use credit cards or secure payment platforms for added protection.
o Check your statements regularly.

🎁Protect Personal Information:
o Don’t share sensitive info like passwords or PINs.
o Watch for phishing attempts disguised as holiday deals or charities.

🎁Stay Connected with Us:
o Report emails or unusual activities to us right away if you believe anything to be suspicious.
o If you receive a phone call from a store or financial institution please hang up and call them back at their published phone number, not the number that they have texted or emailed you. This is a way to ensure the outreach is legitimate.
o Utilize our electronic banking options and check your accounts regularly. If you see any unusual activity notify us right away.

This new feature allows you to deposit checks from almost anywhere using your smartphone.

By simply taking a photo of the front and back of the check with your mobile device, you can securely transmit the image to our credit union for processing.

The Gates Chili FCU team, along with the entire Rochester region, are excited to witness this upcoming, once-in-a-lifetime, total solar eclipse. Our region is anticipating a large influx of people looking for a great view.

After extensive consideration, and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close for the day on April 8th. We apologize for any inconvenience and encourage all of our members to stay safe as you enjoy this event.

We are very excited to present our brand new website this coming weekend!

All of the great resources and information you have come to rely on will still be included and available. The website format, look and feel, and navigation will be updated to be simpler and more direct.

Our website, online banking, and eZCard services will be unavailable from 9PM Saturday, January 27th through 6AM Sunday, January 28th while we complete this change.

Please note our mobile app and anytime teller will still be available for use and will not be interrupted by this change.

As a reminder it is always a best practice to open a new browser for www.gateschilifcu.org instead of utilizing a link in your favorites or bookmarks.
