✈️ A flight that traveled “back in time”

Cathay Pacific Flight 880 lifted off from Hong Kong just after midnight on January 1, 2026 — but when it landed in Los Angeles, the calendar read December 31, 2025.
Passengers welcomed the New Year in Asia, spent about 12 hours in the air, and then arrived in California before the New Year even began there.

The reason? Crossing the International Date Line and passing through multiple time zones. No sci-fi, no time machine — just the fascinating way our planet measures time.

Medicare’s new ability to negotiate prices for selected drugs will improve drug affordability for people with Medicare, improving access to innovative, life-saving treatments for people who need them.

Negotiated prices will become effective on January 1, 2026. A participating drug company with a selected drug is required to ensure the negotiated price is made available to eligible individuals and to the pharmacies, mail-order services, other entities that dispense drugs to such individuals.
