The staff of the Swon Tax Preparation are registered tax preparers with the IRS and our offices have over 100 years of tax and financial experience. Swon Tax Preparation has been providing clients with a variety of tax-related services, including personal and small business tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll and income tax analysis.

A graduate of Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, John Swon has been quoted or interviewed in numerous publications on financial and tax matters including the National Journal, MSN’s Slate, the St. Paul Leader Ledger, the Utne Reader and the Star Tribune. John was also the host of the radio program “Stock & Trade” on AM 1570 Twin Cities Business Radio.

In addition to working with clients, John has volunteered extensively for organizations such as the Edina Art Center, the Small Business Administration, the American Red Cross, the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Edina 4th of July Parade. For his volunteerism, John was named a “Hometown Hero” by the city of Edina in 2013.
