🎉 Welcome to KAFL, Heather McLaurin! 🎉

We're excited to welcome Heather to the KAFL team as our newest Brokerage Manager, joining us from Florida!

With more than 20 years of experience in Medicare and life insurance, Heather brings a wealth of industry knowledge, relationship-building experience, and a passion for helping businesses grow.

She'll be working closely with our Individual and Medicare sales teams while helping us strengthen relationships with our Florida partners and expand our presence in the market.

A little about Heather: Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, serving others, teaching Bible class, and exploring everything Florida has to offer, especially its theme parks!

Day 2 brought everyone together for our in-person Town Hall, and what a great way to wrap up our All KAFL Meeting!

We started the morning with a little rain-induced pivot and an indoor ribbon cutting to officially celebrate our new Rochester office. ✂️🎀

From there, we celebrated our Service Award recipients and Thumbs Up Award winners, recognizing the people who make KAFL such a great team. ❤️💙 More to come this week as we spotlight these amazing associates!

The Town Hall was also a great opportunity to hear from each department about the wins, growth, and progress made over the past year. We talked about where we’re headed next, including continued growth, cross-team collaboration, and new opportunities to better support our advisors.

But perhaps the best part of the All KAFL Meeting was simply being together. ❤️ We don’t get everyone in the same room very often, and having the opportunity to connect, celebrate, laugh, and look ahead together was pretty special.

Two days. One team. A lot to be proud of, and even more to look forward to.

We kicked off our All KAFL Meeting with our annual planning sessions, bringing together our Medicare, Employee Benefits, and Sales teams to look ahead, strategize, and get ready for what’s next.

Then we welcomed our amazing carrier partners for lunch and some great learning:
👏 Tim Adams with Symetra shared insights on their Underwriting Upgrade Program
👏 John Fitzpatrick with John Hancock walked us through their Longevity Preparedness Index

And then it was time to get out of the office! 🚤 We headed out on the Sam Patch Lock 32 boat tour, sponsored by Symetra, followed by a wonderful dinner at Compane Trattoria, sponsored by John Hancock.

Most importantly, it was a fantastic day of connecting, learning, laughing, and spending time together as one KAFL team. We’re so grateful to our carrier partners for being part of it and to our team for making these few days so special!

Day 1 was a big success! 💙
