Some customers become so much more than customers. ❤️

This is Lenny with Ringo. Ringo and his mom were regular visitors to our office, and seeing the two of them always brought a little extra joy to our day.

Sadly, we lost his mom this summer. We miss seeing her — and Ringo — come through our doors. It was truly an honor and a joy getting to know her, and we’re grateful we had the opportunity to help her and her family. Ringo is now safe and loved with family. 🐾❤️

Moments like this remind us why the conversations we have about life insurance matter so much. None of us knows how much time we’ll have, and when we’re able to help a family put protection in place before the unexpected happens, we know we’ve done one of the most important parts of our job.

Today is Kate’s last day with our agency, and we couldn’t let her go without celebrating an incredible summer! 🎓❤️

As a senior finance student at Michigan State University, Kate came into her internship with a strong foundation in finance — and spent the summer seeing how insurance and risk protection fit into the bigger financial picture.

One of my favorite takeaways from her experience: you can plan for someone’s financial future and help them grow, but protecting what they’re building is just as important.

That’s exactly what I hoped this internship would provide — an opportunity to take concepts out of the classroom, see them applied in the real world, and connect the pieces.

Kate, thank you for spending your summer learning, contributing, asking questions, showing up for our community, and being part of our team. We’re excited to see where your senior year and future in finance take you! 🤍

How cool is it to see our little corner of Rochester Hills recognized as one of Oakland County’s favorite places to gather? The splash pad, playground, green space and walkable neighborhood really do make Brooklands special.

Happy Founder’s Day, and Happy Birthday, State Farm! ❤️

June 7th has always been a special day in my family.

It marks the birthday of State Farm founder George J. Mecherle (June 7, 1877), and the anniversary of the company he founded. It is also the birthday of my dad, Bob Tourangeau (June 7, 1956).

My dad spent his career serving customers, building relationships, and representing the values that made State Farm what it is today. In the 1990s, he became one of the top State Farm agents in the country across multiple lines of business.

What makes these photos even more meaningful is that the photo of my dad was taken sitting at the very same desk once used by George Mecherle.

Two men born on June 7.
One founded the company.
The other dedicated his career to helping carry that vision forward.

Happy Founder’s Day, happy birthday State Farm, and happy birthday Dad. ❤️

Always nice to get out in the community and meet people who are passionate about making a difference.

Kate and I enjoyed meeting Rep. Mark Tisdel and spending the evening with fellow Rochester Hills residents, business owners, and community leaders. Thank you to the State Farm PAC for inviting us to attend!
