When there’s no plan in place (I mean the talk we don’t want to have), it can bring stress, confusion, and financial pressure all at once on top of heartbreak. Being prepared is one of the greatest gifts you can leave your family.

✨ “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.” – Proverbs 13:2

When we hear the word inheritance, most of us would think about having money or having possessions. However, this Scripture reminds us of something far greater, the inheritance in our faith, finding peace in our heart, and showing love to others. The truth is, we don’t know the hour nor the day when God will call us home to be with him. When that moment arrives, the greatest gift we can leave our families is not confusion or worry, but peace of mind, knowing that things are in order both here on earth and in heaven. The preparation that we are sharing today is not about fearing death, rather it’s about trusting God enough to live today as if God could call us home tonight.

So let me ask you: if the Lord called you home today, what would your family inherit? Would it be peace or uncertainty?
