Rabb Farms is the living story of five generations who have worked the same land in Nueces County over nearly a hundred years.

Many family farms have a story similar to the Otahals’ and Texas Farm Credit is proud to be part of every one of them.

Here are some familiar faces for most of y’all!🤠 Bill and Brett Slomchinski have been partnered with us for years, running their peanut, cotton and cattle operation near Pleasanton.

This summer, one of our 2026 interns, Charlie Hyslop, spent the day walking their land with our Pleasanton team to see their operation first-hand and understand the importance of forging real relationships with our customers.

The Texas Farm Credit Internship Program is filled with valuable experiences like these that take interns across our territory and offer impactful experiences that help shape their careers. Beyond hard work, growing a successful operation takes strong business and leadership skills, too.

That’s why Texas Farm Credit proudly supports The Executive Program for Agricultural Producers (TEPAP), a professional development program designed to help agricultural producers strengthen their business management and leadership skills. Hosted through Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, TEPAP has spent more than 35 years helping farmers, ranchers and agribusiness leaders sharpen the business side of agriculture.
