-Yes, the Fed cut rates by 0.5%. (these are not mortgage rates)
-Mortgage rates had already priced in this anticipated cut over the past month.
-Mortgage rates have remained, mostly, unchanged today after the rate cut announcement. They are, presently, a tiny bit worse than yesterday. (See below 5 day and 30 day charts)

Great news! USDA just released their new income limits for their 100% Guaranteed Program!(no down payment required)

- 1-4 person household limit is now $112,450/yr
- 5+ person limit is now $148,450/yr

This is a small increase from last year's limits, but definitely welcomed! Every little bit helps!

They are also increasing their housing expense ratio from 29% to 34%. This will help individuals and families that have very little monthly debt have more of a chance to qualify for a USDA mortgage.
