Some moments stop you in your tracks. This was one of those weeks….

I had the privilege of attending New York Life’s Managing Partner Development Program at Home Office in NYC — connecting with senior leadership, learning from the best in the company, and walking the halls of one of the most storied institutions in American history.

Nearly 10 years in the making, and I’m humbled to step into the role of Managing Partner for Richmond General Office — entrusted to serve, develop, and lead a team that changes lives every single day.

The History. The Mission. The Responsibility. It all hit differently standing there in person. Deeply grateful to New York Life for investing in my growth, and to the leaders who gave their time and wisdom this week.

Richmond — I’m coming home with a renewed fire and an unbreakable commitment to building something more powerful, together.

Looking back on an inspiring week at the New York Life National Partners Meeting in Amelia Island, Florida!

It was an honor to represent the Richmond office as the new Managing Partner. Hearing directly from our senior leadership about the strategic investments we are making in the client and employee experience was incredibly motivating.

New York Life has spent nearly two centuries building a legacy of trust, and seeing the roadmap for the next 180 years reinforces why we do what we do. I’m coming home with fresh perspectives, a pair of commemorative cufflinks I’ll wear with pride, and a renewed commitment to our team and our clients.

The highlight of the trip, however, was having my family there to witness this new chapter and further deepen relationships with some of best friends at our firm. Here’s to making the choice of being Bold, Courageous, and Dynamic on this opportunity at NYL!

Still feeling the impact of the annual Roanoke Kickoff- being together and connected is something I’ll always value. Grateful for our established agents, mentors, and management team for the love, support, and belief over the years.
