My father just had triple bypass surgery this week. So this topic is near and dear to my HEART! ❤️‍🩹

While many of us may know someone who's suffered a stroke, the risk factors can vary a lot from person to person. Some—like family history—you can't change. But there are things you can do to help reduce your risk:(1)

✔️ Focus on foods low in sodium and saturated fats.

✔️ Find a physical activity you enjoy and get moving.

✔️ If you smoke, talk with your doctor about ways to quit.

✔️ Limit or avoid alcohol.
