If you have a procedure shceduled in the near future, please check on your Prior Authorization (PA) with your Insurance Co. People have been woken up from Anesthesia because the PA was not completed, I had someone a few days ago that found out @ 4 pm the day before a big surgery that the PA had not been approved.
Check with your insurance company that your provedure is approved a week before surgery.
This is not the time for surprises!!
PAs are quickly becoming a sticky at the last minute.

Sam Fisher has ghosted entire compounds without the alarm meter even flickering yellow.

But put them in front of ACA Open Enrollment?
Snake starts calling Otacon on the codec like,
‘Otacon… this plan says it covers vision, but does it cover… tactical vision?’

Meanwhile Sam is in full Splinter Cell, upside-down in a doorway asking Grim:
‘
How do I know if any of these providers take my insurance, or do I have to interrogate the billing department?’

Snake: ‘Colonel, what’s a silver plan?’
Sam: ‘Lambert, I need extraction — these copays are hostile.’

If THESE two legends can infiltrate everything except health insurance…

MEDICARE NERD NEWS:
#1 Rule (Never Question Medicare Nerd Math)
Big updates, here are the Medicare numbers for 2026!!!

Part B Premium: $202.90, this is the amount you pay monthly for Medicare Part B. In 2025, it was $185.00, an increase of $17.90.

Part A Deductible: $1,736.00, this is the deductible you pay if you are admitted to the hospital on Original Medicare. In 2025, it was $1,676.00, an increase of $60.00.

Part B Deductible: $283.00, this is deductible you will pay for medical coverage in 2026 annually if you have a Med Supp/ Medigap/ Medicare Supplement plan other than Plan F. In 2025, it was $257.00, an increase of $26.00.

Social Security increase of 2.8%

In real numbers, if you are making over 640.00 a month in Social Security, your increase is either equal to or over the increase in the Part B premium.
(If you don't know what any of this mess means and you are on Medicare, reach out (DM). It's simpler than you think.)
