It takes some serious coordination to set the week up right. Between syncing everyone’s schedules, planning the menu, knocking out what food prep I can, pre-planning workouts and outfits, and making sure all teenagers are actually present on Chore Day Sunday (they’ve mastered the Irish goodbye). I easily spend an hour every Sunday morning just getting organized. Here is some of my planning this week. is coming home to celebrate my birthday at Disneyland!!!! I’m on the Momma countdown!

I’ve never really had a handle on fashion, or even a good sense of what looks good and what doesn’t. That’s made getting dressed for work a daily headache. Most mornings, I’d get so frustrated that I’d just throw on jeans and a t-shirt.

I love building tech stacks and playing with tools that make life easier. So, I’ve been working on what I’m calling my Work Week Look-Book (I need to come up with a better name lol). I’ve slowly started cataloging my closet, and now I’ve got a few AIs working together to help me choose outfits based on the weather and what’s on my calendar. It even builds an avatar so I can preview the outfit and writes out the full look for me.

There’s still work to do; like getting the avatar to consistently look like me or prompting hairstyles that match, but it’s coming together. And I’m honestly having fun with it. I’m taking stress off my weekday mornings, and for the first time in 40+ years, I’m starting to see a sense of style come together.
