How important is your financial future?
What happens to people who do not implement a healthy financial plan?
What are the positives of retiring in poverty?
What are the negatives?
Do you think the government or your employer is going to take care of your retirement?
Do you want to become financially independent before you die? How soon? (Financial independence occurs the instant a persons passive income exceeds their living expenses. Passive income is all the money a person earns without working) "If you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die." ~Warren Buffett
Do you know what the number one fear in retirement is? (running out of money)
Do you have a written financial plan? (If not, you're winging it)
Are you sure that your retirement savings are going to last you until age 90, 95, or possibly even 100?
How important is investing properly and investing enough?
What is your current asset allocation strategy and how often do you rebalance your portfolio?
Do you have a six month emergency fund fully funded?
Who is your investment advisor/financial planner?
Why is it important to have one, and have a great relationship with one?
What is your current retirement "income" strategy and what assurance do you have that it will last your entire life?
With your current income and current expenses, do you feel that you are able to invest enough money each month?
Do you have a detailed budget and do you stick to it? (if you don't you're probably in deep trouble)
Do you know when you will be completely debt-free?
Do you have the necessary life insurance in place to take care of your family should something happen to you?
When you die do you want your family to live better, the same, or worse? (notice the question is not 'if you die')
Do you have an updated will and testament?
What happens to your estate if you die without a will?
Is what you are doing right now guaranteeing your financial success or financial failure?
Do you feel like you are compensated according to your worth?
Does your current job give you the realistic potential of accomplishing of your most important financial goals?
How important is growing your income to you, not important, somewhat important, or very important?
What is the key ingredient to earning more of money? (finding a way to serve many people)
Do you review your major life goals every day?
Who is your successful mentor that is personally helping you achieve your goals and dreams?
I heard somewhere many years ago that the main job of a preacher was not to comfort the afflicted, but to afflict the comfortable.
My purpose here is to make those who read this uncomfortable enough now, so they can make new and better choices that create a much brighter and secure financial future for themselves and their families.
