We are celebrating Brent Larson today! Brent will be retiring from the board after serving as a Director since 2006. Brent was also a full-time bank employee from March 1992 to December 2019.

Brent has been a valuable asset to the bank over the years, leading and guiding with grace and integrity...all while making us laugh (if you know Brent, you know how funny he is).

Thank you, Brent for your years of service here! We wish you all the best! You will be dearly missed.

Please help us congratulate Kerri Olson on 25 years of service with RFSB! She started with us in 2001 and has held a number of different positions over the years. She has spent the last 14 years as a Vice President – Loan Officer and was also appointed to serve on the bank’s Board of Directors in 2023. World Password Day is observed on the first Thursday of May and is dedicated to raising awareness on the importance of strong, unique, and secure passwords. When was the last time you updated your passwords? If you haven’t recently, below are some tips to help you create your own strong passwords:

- Use a combination of upper and lowercased letters, numbers, and symbols

- You can make a password that appears random by making up a passphrase that means something to you, and only using the first letter of each word. (For example, the phrase “My first job in 94 was delivering pizzas!” could become the secure password “M1stji94wdP!”.)

- Have a unique password for each account

- Whenever possible use two-factor or multifactor authentication

- Don’t allow your browser to save your password or automatically fill your credentials in for you

Remember to update your passwords regularly to keep your accounts secure!
